Cancelled!
Had to cancel tonight’s practice because of the snow. The singer’s snowed in and the rest of us aren’t keen to risk it. Maybe next week :-)

Good practise
Another good practise last night - much more coherent than last weeks :-)
No new songs - we’ve decided to spend a couple of weeks really locking down the songs we already have. We’ll get back to new songs in the new year.

Practice tonight
We’re practising this week after all - hurray!

Bit rough
Practice was a bit rough last night - singer had the cold, drummer was knackered and bass player was fighting with his amp all night.
But we still (almost) managed a new song (Foo Fighers - The Pretender) and half of another (Queen - Under Pressure).
Also, it looks like we might not get a practice next week. Never mind.

And the RHCP, Blink-182 and Bloodhound Gang songs sounded pretty good last night. We forgot to decide what to learn next, but I’m sure we’ll work that out over the interwebs.

Name and shame
Another practice tonight with three new songs to try:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Fortune Faded
Blink-182 - The Rock Show
Bloodhound Gang - Foxtrot Uncle Charlie Kilo
Not totally convinced about the Bloodhound Gang song, but we’ll see how it goes.
And tonight we’re going to try to decide on a name for the band so that we can start booking gigs for sometime next year. Eek!
